Shab-e Yaldā and other festivals
Beyond Nowruz, the Iranian year is marked by festivals with ancient roots: the longest night of winter, the fire-jumping of spring and the outdoor picnic that ends the New Year. This lesson introduces them and the phrases that go with them.
