About this course

اوخوماق و یازماق

In Iran, Azeri is written in a Persian-based script with extra letters for the vowels Persian does not have, while the Republic of Azerbaijan uses a Latin alphabet. This course teaches the script used in Iran first, so you can read signs, menus, messages and poetry in Tabriz, and finishes with a bridge to the Latin alphabet so you can read Baku websites too. If you already read Persian, you will move through the first unit quickly.

Every lesson includes: a chaptered audio lesson to stream or download, a printable lesson guide with Persian script, transliteration and English, an audio word list, interactive exercises and a "mark complete" button that tracks your progress.
