About this course
آذربایجان تۆرکجهسیAzeri, also called Azerbaijani Turkish, is the second language of Iran and the everyday language of Tabriz, Urmia, Ardabil and Zanjan. The Azeri spoken in Iran sounds different from the language of the Republic of Azerbaijan: it is written in a Persian-based script, carries many Persian words and has its own accent and expressions. This course teaches Tabrizi Azeri as people speak it today, with every word shown in the Persian-based script, in Finglish and in English. Lessons are cumulative, so complete beginners should start at Lesson 1.
Every lesson includes: a chaptered audio lesson to stream or download, a printable lesson guide with Persian script, transliteration and English, an audio word list, interactive exercises and a "mark complete" button that tracks your progress.
